I love these very much -- would love a pattern....   anyway, when I first saw the top one (black and white) in the small thumbnail, I thought it was a shirt.  Have you made shirts with the same "look" yet, because if you haven't, you should!

i actually thought it was a dress, but the point is, i concur. i want a whole owlie ensemble!

i've never made any kind of wallet actually, so this was a real learning experience. a LOT of trial and error. but i really wanted to make a "just because" gift for my sister-in-law, and she's a purse/wallet/etc lover. i'm relatively pleased with the results..pictures:

teddy bears are usually a little too adorable for me, but these are some well-executed bears! i think my favorite, though, is the pin..and i really hope that's a spotted llama..
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Half a boiled egg? on: January 17, 2008 04:13:50 PM
i've been sewing spheres all day, so i'd reccommend just making a hemisphere. here's the pattern i've been using:http://almaxaquotal.deviantart.com/art/Baby-Snitch-Pattern-39102162. just use two of the little football shapes instead of 4. you could elongate them when you trace/cut to get more of the egg shape.

good luck! would love to see them when you're all finished. Smiley

i made this little guy last night and i can't decide which way is right side up! i thought about making the face so that it could go either way; my mom suggested doing the back one way and the front the other..any thoughts?
here's one way & the other
