1  Re: Post Photos of Your Tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Cajaya on: September 01, 2008 10:45:34 AM
I absolutely love this thread! I recently got a half sleeve finished this past May. Its a buddha with a lotus flower.

I have gone through a lot the last 10 years. A lotus flower begins in the water and muck, and blossoms up through the water, so it represents going through life. And the buddha reminds me of enlightment, karma, to good on to others and good will be done onto you. Just really centers me to where I am now, and reminds me where I dont want to go back to. My dad passed away a week before my last session. He hated tattoos but loved this one, and was all excited to see more work done on it. So I added his initials to it. Im not to excited about the inital placement, so trying to see what I could add to it to balance it out a little more.

For Mothers Day, I made my mom this paper flower arrangement. I was pretty pleased with the outcome, and thought about making them as a fundraising item. I do fundraising year round for Breast Cancer.
