I can't stop making these!!  They are so addictive!




Now my Iphone and Ipod will be able to accessorize with my outfits.

I wish it was colder in Austin.  I would have a chance to sport my newest creation!!

First, before the ears.  Looks normal and non-threatening. 

Then I add the ears and tadaaaaa!  Kitty cat hat! 


My cat was my inspiration.  She helped me thru it giving support and meows.

Ooooh I've been craving fruit with the start of Spring and these cherries look yummy on my table.

This lovely thing took forever to do!  But it was so worth it.  I love how the colors came out. 

I bought this amazing yarn called Vickie Howell's vegas yarn.  Here is the specs on it:

I CANNOT for the life of me, find a crochet pattern to use for this kind of yarn.  Everything I have found online is for knitting.  Anyone know where I should look to find a similar hat pattern?

"ch. 3, make 1 sc in the next ch2 space."
"(Ch. 4, make 1 sc)  twice into the next ch.4 space.


my confusion is the chain space description.  for example...do i make a sc in the next  stitches?  is that a ch2 space?  or is it in the actual chain i made from the ch. 3 part?

it's your average peppermint pink cloche with attitude.  black stars!  no hearts.

i was getting tired of my black stretchy ponytail holders so i decided to make them a bit more hip.

then i added a nifty button i had been saving for something cool and tada!!  new ponytail holder.  took 15 minutes top.

"1. In ring: ch3 (counts as first dc and ch 1), *dc ch 1* 4 times, slip to first ch space, ch 1 (5 dcs 5 ch spaces)"

ok am i supposed to already have my ring created?  where am i doing these chains?  in my ring or outside the ring?

this lil scarf took 2 weeks of blood, sweat and tears!  so glad it's over!  i made each cupcake by hand and just sewed them all together.
