COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Your Favorite Culinary Blogs

So of late I've started cooking more and more often... Perhaps my new girlfriend has been inspiring (she's incredibly intuitive in the kitchen)... I love diving into my fridge and cupboards on my days off and just improvising delectables. I have started watching cooking shows like mad... I'm totally addicted to Food Network (my favorites are Jamie Oliver and Giada De Laurentiis). But even between impromptu snacks during Giada's Weekend Getaways and spontaneous recipes from my lady, I'm still left wanting more. Which brings me to the point of this post. I'm interested blogs. I'd like to know what everyone's favorite culinary blogs are... they could be about shopping at farmer's markets or wine and food pairing or everyday recipes... I'm just dying to know what great food blogs lay out there waiting to inspire...
So which blogs keep you all excited about cooking?

CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Afghan or Tunisian Crochet Hooks
|

Hello everyone,
I just started getting into Tunisian crochet... I love it! But I only have one old tunisian hook in size H. I feel like that's kinda limiting but I'm having the darnedest time finding them. Where do folks find they're afghan hooks, online or in store?
Thanks for the help!

KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Saddle Blanket experience anyone?

Hi y'all!
My mom recently moved to Montana and got her first horse in 40 years. I'd like to knit and felt a saddle blanket for her and her horse for christmas. I've already got a yarn in mind, Brown Sheep Co.'s Burly Spun, but was wondering if anyone had any experience with this or has ever seen a pattern for a saddle blanket. Any info is greatly appreciated!

CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What happened to CrochetMe.com

Thanks for the blog tip... I thought I had been reading the right blog, but I had been reading Kim's blog and not CrochetMe's. Kim did post a preview of the new CrochetMe site last month and it looks like it's going to be AWESOME! I am so excited. I can't believe she is managing all of this: an incredible magazine, a revolutionary webzine, books, blogs, a life... Bravo Kim, bravo.
