1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Michael Jackson Thriller Jacket on: June 26, 2009 10:20:25 PM
I made this jacket a few months ago for my 80's themed choir concert. Being a huge procrastinator, I ended up making it the night before out of a cheap plastic tablecloth. Even at the grocery store after the concert, a few people came to me and recognized the jacket immediately. Michael Jackson's style was one-of-a-kind, and he will continue to be an inspiration to me.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Batman shirts for Superhero Day! on: September 03, 2008 01:59:24 PM
So...this year during homecoming week my school is having a superhero/villain day and I decided to make and sell Batman shirts! I found the picture I wanted online, put it in black and white, and cut a stencil of it... BUT I used regular spray paint to paint the shirts, so they have to be hand washed in cold water  Undecided. Btw, does anyone have any ideas as far as getting the same look using a different medium? I know airbrushing is an option, but I won't have the money for that until Christmas...

Instead of doing the embroidery, I cut pieces of felt and added my own little teardrop
