1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Batik ragbag on: June 15, 2008 09:37:33 PM
Hi!  I made this for the Hookers Only swap out of about four yards of batik fabric ripped into 1/2" strips, then single crocheted 'round and 'round.

Here it is filled with books:

And here it is out flat.

Other details:  N-sized hook, braided some fabric for the button enclosure, awesome button courtesy of JoAnn's, and the strap was made by cutting my half inch strips in half, then crocheting with a K hook.

Thanks for looking!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Stripe-alicious afghan on: March 03, 2008 01:29:51 PM
Here's a crazy afghan I dreamed up and made out of Patons Shetland Chunky (tweeds and plains.)  It is uber-warm and comfy.

Let me know what you think!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Ski mask (no 'stache) on: January 24, 2008 03:30:56 PM
So the boy wanted one of those ski masks with the mustache on the outside, like the one from Dwell.  I got this far, but I've stalled out on mustache craftery.  Any idears?

In the meantime, it's kept him superwarm during the last few weeks here in Denver.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Joy to this Rag Rug on: January 22, 2008 02:14:10 PM
Here's the rag rug I made my mom for Christmas.  It was tons of fun to make -- I'll look for any excuse to rip up any fabric to crochet with big hooks.

The fabric I used was all Debbie Mumm Christmas fabric, plus a little ribbon from Target.  I snuck in a little teensy bit of Elvis Presley Christmas fabric as a hello to my dad as well.

The final project was just over four feet long and not quite three feet wide.

This is my first post, so let me know what you think!
