1  Re: Three Tiny Movie Things - Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: April 22, 2013 06:19:07 PM
I have received already because mariak is awesome! She has also made some fantastic tiny things that I am excited to share with you.

La Vie en Rose hoop based on the movie Love Me if You Dare
A mini Pan's Labyrinth journal, it has little pics from the movie on the pages
Hawaii type keychain inspired by Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Jurassic Park magnets
Darth Vader bookmark
and Cadbury buttons which I must admit are already in my tummy

I love it all and I'm excited to give the bf his bookmark. I'm not crazy about Star Wars about he completely is. He even made me watch all 6 when we first started dating since I had never seen them. Thanks again mariak!!!

2  Re: Adult Only Swap Round 7 (Send out Feb. 11) GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: February 15, 2013 04:36:35 PM
I got some crazy awesome things from haroldlovesmaude

a nice body scrub

2 tshirts and a heating pad that looks like condoms

pasties and a beautiful Little Mermaid pinup hoop

She even has a dinglehopper in her hand!

Everything is so great with only a minor hiccup that I hope to fix. Some of the scrub leaked onto one of the shirts. Anyone know how to get that type of stain out? Thank you so much haroldlovesmaude!!! I can't wait to use it all and put the hoop on my wall.  Cheesy

3  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap Round 8 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: January 02, 2013 02:50:44 PM
It has finally arrived!!! On my doorstep today was a lovely package that took a long time to get here but who cares since it came. Inside were amazing things, some that will have to wait until next year to be fully appreciated.

First we have the very large stocking. I love the little bell on the very end.

2 new headbands, a felted ornament, and 3 very cute small stockings

A book in a box

Sweets, cookie cutters, and cupcake wrappers

And . . . 2 scarves and a matching beanie. I love the set and I see myself wearing it often in the future since I love grey. The other scarf is also beautiful and dainty. I love scarves so much!

Thank you so much mini_mum! Everything is great and added so much happiness to my day  Grin

I was totally spoiled by just-heidi!!! I received the most fantastic package today from her and I am so excited to show it off.

Everything nice and wrapped with a tag for each.

2 Roald Dahl books (I absolutely love Roald Dahl!!), owl beads that you can't really see oops, and 2 bracelets that I'm currently wearing

Hippo tape measure, earrings, and a case made out of a Puff the Magic Dragon cassette tape. Funny enough I was listening to that song in my car on my way home today too, Peter, Paul, and Mary have some great harmonies in that song  Smiley

Pretty earrings

Tote with hand-bound journal

Journal is called "People I Want to Punch in the Face" with a Pollyanna's Door to Happiness bookmark (made me laugh)

Last but not least, beautifully knitted purple wrist warmers with a comfy cowl. I can't wait for it to finally get chilly here but not be in the 90s

Seriously, I am just so excited. Thank you for everything just-heidi!!!!

5  NBC Shoes in Shoes: Completed Projects by karwash on: September 22, 2012 06:03:51 PM
I made these for a friend last Christmas since he is in love with Nightmare Before Christmas but never got around to posting them. He wears them often and said he loves when people ask where they can got some. He takes pride in telling them that they are one of a kind. Parts of them also glow in the dark.

Front of shoes

Back of shoes

Inside of left shoe

Inside of right shoe

Outside of both shoes look like this

Its the first time I have ever painted shoes but I really liked it. I may have to do more in the future.

7  Re: 4x6 Art Swap Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: June 25, 2012 09:45:49 PM
I finally have a chance to show off the lovely art piece I received! I'm sorry that it took so long. Sorry for the glare in the picture too, I can never seem to get good lighting in my apartment. The art is beautiful regardless.

8  Re: Jim Henson Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: June 05, 2012 10:06:56 PM
I'm bummed that you have to reglue eeyore_witch. I'm sorry about that. On a happy note though, I also received and nothing needs to be reglued.  Smiley

Extras and not so extra: Smarites (which were immediately devoured), Miss Piggy Pez dispenser, and cute muppet-y barrettes.

An Extra extra: Muppet tin with muppet stationary in it too.

An awesome cross-stitch that actually has the same saying that I have tattooed on my feet!

And . . . MEW!!!! I am so seriously excited about Mew. He is actually taller than he looks in pictures ~ 10 inches. If you don't know Mew, he is from Jim Henson's The Christmas Toy which was a made for tv special. It is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies and he is my favorite character in it. Eeyore_witch did such an amazeballs job on him!!!!

Thanks so much eeyore_witch!

I am excited to show off my fancy movie package! So here it is, courtesy of banana731

A mug for Waiting for Guffman, The Blob pincushion from Heavyweights, and a seashell headband inspired by Wet, Hot, American Summer

That's not all! Some organic lollipops with fun little accessories to use while eating them and a cute pin of the adorable party favors in Bridesmaids. I want to go to a party that gives me a puppy party favor!  Smiley

Thanks so much banana731!

10  Re: Simple/Easy Crafts Swap Gallery (mail by 2-24-2012) in The Swap Gallery by karwash on: March 06, 2012 06:32:33 PM
Okay, so my internet is finally working (for the moment) and I can post some pictures!

First off, some warm wool socks for my friend. He has crazy cold feet all the time and these socks are sure to warm them up. And then maybe he will quit putting his popsicle feet on my toasty skin because they will no longer be ice cubes.

A very cute scarf.

A different scarf based on one from my wist.

And some pretty felt flowers and a washer necklace.

It is all really great. Thank you so much amazing_784!!!
