1  Bat Poi in CHALLENGE 38 ENTRIES by Pye on: May 04, 2009 06:11:41 PM

Eeeek!

...

I started with some plastic eggs. The type you get inside a chocolate egg.

Found some little eyes in my craft box (they were on sale so I bought them then did nothing with as they were so little)

I popped a couple of holes here and thar with the aul cropadile... and some wee scissors.

Then I twisted some left over wool (I'll tell you what that was for some day) and ribbon my partner's sister brought me for christmas, added a small amount of left over paint (yay for shed junk) stuck on some random bits of felt and...

Presto!

Notice the little smudge...As an old friend used to say 'It all adds to the effect!!'

I made some bat poi!
(here is poi for who didn't know, good stuff!)

So yeah they'll basically be flying about at the end of my fingers.

Here is what I used:

Plastic eggs
Wool
Felt
Little plastic eyes
Left over paint
Ribbons
Sand (to give the little guys some weight!)

Tools:

Cropadile (to make neat holes)
Wee scissors
Old paint brush
Les mains
