Here is the Halloween costume I made for my 8 week old son Arlo.  He sure made a great Captain Picard, and had fun "trick or treating", well having our neighbours oogleover his cute bald head & smile!

Vote for Arlo!!

Really cute!  I have a little boy on the way, and love seeing what people sew for their boys!  It looks like it fits him very well, too!

Thanks ladies!
Eliea-  I took apart a Gerber 0-3 month onesie to make the pattern, just added some seam allowance!  Then, I cut strips from some other knit to make the necklines, serged the sides, folded it over, and sewed in on for binding, then assembled the shirt!  Easy Peasy!!
You should all give it a try!  Very gratifying, and doesn't take forever!  Plus, I got a McCalls pattern for a baby T/onesie and such, and it was SO HUGE!!  The newborn size was like almost 12 months!  Not very helpful when making something for a probably 6 or 7 lb babe!

In 4 weeks I am due to have a baby boy!!  These are some of the first clothes I've made for him!  They are so tiny, maybe newborn to 0-3 months.  I can't wait to put them on him!

first, we have a pirate jammie top made of waffle knit,  and a jersey skull t-shirt...

then, we have a green and a brown t with orange neck binding!

ps- they aren't wonky, they just look like it... I'm not a great photographer...
Thanks for looking!

C&C appreciated!
