I've always been fasicnated with head tattoos, and while talking to my tattoo artist at a bar he told me he would love to do it for me on the cheap! It turned out awesome. Here it is:

I came up with the idea for having a dia de los muertos tat forever ago, and last year I finally decided what I wanted in it. Chummy from Tattoo 13 in Oakland drew it up. He did an excellent job. I can't wait to go back for another!!!!

---RenDuh, I love the bunny tattoo. It reminds me of that bunny costume from Donnie Darko.

3  day of the dead tat (in progress) in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by *katiequince* on: April 21, 2009 11:40:16 AM
I just can't wait to post it! This tat is a day of the dead themed picture, with the main focus being a painted pin up girl. It was done yesterday by Chummy of Thirteen tattoo in Oakland, Ca. He's a great artist, I highly recommend him! I'll post again when I get it colored in.

Sorry for the not so good pics, I'm so excited, I didn't even want to wait for someone to come home, so I took the pics myself.

4  cranberry pie pie piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiee in Dessert by *katiequince* on: December 08, 2008 02:44:23 PM
Seeing cranberry pie on Iron chef america, I thought, huh, wonder what that taste likes?... The verdict is in... It's super tasty! I couldn't get any pics of it whole, we devoured it so quick! Here's a pic of it after it's been destroyed.

I used the dough recipe I posted here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=281865.0 , and this is how I made the filling:

1. Put 1 large bag of fresh cranberries in a sauce pan
2. Add 2 1/2 cups water
3. Add 2 1/2 cups of sugar (cranberries are extremely tart, but if you'd like to add  less sugar you could) and stir together over med heat on the stove.
4. Reduce mixture  on a low simmer until it thickens up.
5. take off heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of dissolved cornstarch.
6. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 for15-20 min or until crust starts to brown.
7. Let pie cool (it will thicken as it cools)

Enjoy and happy holidays!
