I've had this lying around for several months doing nothing but looking pretty (reminds me of myself  ), so I decided to use it as kindling for my Craftster career.



It started off as a plain baby-blue cardboard cylinder box from Chapters, $2 (wish I'd bought more), and I gave it a little character by whipping out some origami paper from its Snoopy tin and making some cranes to go along the perimeter. The cranes are pretty small, they'd sit on your fingernail.

A few production notes for anyone who wants to try this project: it takes about 45 minutes total to do, white glue works fine. Also works with tissue boxes, jar lids, etc.

The lid's wonky because I tried to adjust it to sit on the lip of the box on one side and the photo didn't reflect that. Stupid camera/sense of artisticness.
