13  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Buyer Turn Offs on: June 14, 2008 07:11:24 AM
My number one buyer turn off is sellers that say for you to convo them if you would like a larger number of something or have a question and then take weeks to answer you. This has happened with one seller in particular...our convo has been going on a couple of months now---ANNOYING!! If you aren't willing to even bother to check your account more than once or twice a month, then why bother having one? I like to see it, order it, and pay for it all in one transaction and receive it fast. If a seller isn't serious about taking care of her store properly, how long do ya think it would take them to actually SEND you an item you bought? Grrrrrrr!!

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Chainmaille ID/buspass/cc Holder on: June 13, 2008 12:18:03 PM
I got sick of scrabbling to find my bus pass in my purse while juggling shopping bags, so I cut a bunch of rings, added some black rubber ones and made a card holder that I could just throw on around my neck and use hands-free.

I'm thinking about doing up a few more and marketing them to the university crowd here in town, maybe with an added pocket on the back to hold change/cash for clubbing.

What do ya think?
