31  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: ~Off to College Swap~ signups CLOSED. on: July 24, 2008 10:30:08 AM
Oh, and I've finished one your items, Skellerz. It's super awesome, and I'm not telling what it is.  Grin

To be fair, I've finished PART of one of yours :p
Tis a set.
And I'm not telling you either, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it, smartiepants Smiley

And I tend to throw the 'point' system out the window...
I'm a knitter, so pretty much ANYTHING could fall into the 'large' category.
I tend to go by how much of a pain in the arse it was to make, lol.

Isn't it generally the citric acid in the lemon that would lighten hair?

I've done both, teching and acting, and I much prefer teching.
In some ways it's less stress, in others it's more, but any job I have that I can get away with wearing my WI skating shoes with the bloody handprints on them is fine by me Smiley

Plus, when my school did The Wizard Of Oz last spring, three days before the show, the only one who knew all the lines was Dorothy, and she knew EVERYONE'S.
Good thing they whipped it into shape for show night >.<

I'm not sure I WANT to rush a sorority...
Is it as bad as everyone makes them out to be?

University of Illinois at Chicago for meeee

I think one of my friends goes there...
She started last semester.
Her name is Alex Newbern *shrug*  Say hi or something!

I'm headed to Eastern Michigan University to major in English.
Might be transferring to the University of Michigan (the real one, in Ann Arbor) at the end of this year though, not sure yet.
EMU is a BIGTIME teaching school, and I don't really intend to teach, though it's probably a good idea.  I dunno >.<
I'm trying to decide what to craft!!!

38  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: a question for those of you who make dishclothes/washclothes.... on: July 15, 2008 08:41:01 PM
Most of the time I manage 1 out of it, but there's a bunch leftover, so I end up making a striped one every couple of balls.

Opera+Wist= BAD.
Guess my partner just has to talk to me to get a feel for my tastes :p
I think I actually have one somewhere, I just got sick of fighting with it (opera doesn't get that nifty button thing).
