I remember a craft as a kid where you made pictures out of small rock gravel perhaps and you used cord to outline the gravel.  They made some pretty funky pictures.  I believe this was a 60s craft.  thanks
3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: barf baggies from planes on: October 12, 2009 05:39:05 PM
You can make little boxes without a lid.  I used to use them on the plane (I am a Flight attendant) to hold cream, tea creamer etc. to attach to the ice bucket on the cart.

Actually don't take them, they are not replaced after the flight.  Nothing is worse than having someone throw up and there is no sick sack.  ick! Embarrassed

I was up in Toronto last week for a day and went to the mall.  On my way back I picked up a few maple leaves (various colors) that had fallen.  Any ideas as to what I could use them for?  Pressed leaves for pics.  Etc?  thanks

I started a a little purse from a pair of mine.  I took a quilt square and used as a lining and in the process of making a little purse - no zipper or anything maybe velcro closure and beads or knit handle etc.

I ended up flying with someone whose daughter collects them for a charity.  So I plan to donate then to her.  Thank you for your responses.

Does anyone make any crafts from tab tops and need some. I have access to quite a few and have been looking for someone to send them to either for charity or for crafting.

Hi, I am not sure where to put this ----- Does anyone out there save tab tops from cat food, soda cans etc.s   I work as a flight attendant and get lots of these and would like to send them to someone for charity.  My sources have dried up here.  Maybe someone makes crafts out of them and would like them.  Please let me know.  Thanks!  I enjoy collecting them as it gives me something to do on the long hauls Grin
