I've got most of the back knit up so far, and am using some cheapy Merit stuff in a pretty pink that I had lying around in my drawers. So far, so good.

I finished this one a few weeks ago and just now got around to taking photos of it. It's the XS size in Red Heart Supersaver on size 5 needles. I would have needed the M size, but my guage was seriously off and going down two sizes helped sort it out. I made one in brown the first time round using size 6s and it still ended up being too big. Also, the Red Heart is surprisingly soft. It was a bit stiff at first, but after a run through the washing machine and dryer it feels lovely and drapes well. Anyway, here we go:

I received from mint today! I got:

a panta, a headband, and a crocheted hat (no action shots since I'm sick and gross-looking today, but they fit perfectly)

personalized Slytherin stationary that says my name and one of the sorting hat's Slytherin songs, and an awesome bag with another of the hat's songs on it.

Thanks for everything, mint!  Smiley
