Hello. My name is Stephanie, though I prefer to go by Rain. I'm sixteen, a Scorpio, and have always lived in Ontario, Canada. I've got another year of high school left, after which I plan to study toward a Masters degree in Library Science. I hope to one day move to somewhere in the UK (haven't found the perfect location yet) and open up my own bookstore, where I'll also sell baked goods and knitted wears. I currently work part-time as a cashier at a grocery store and have three cats and a puppy.

I've a great passion for books, and spend a lot of my spare time reading. I love fantasy and historical fiction, though I'll read almost anything. Neil Gaiman, Anne Rice, Douglas Adams, Marion Zimmer Bradley, V.C. Andrews, and Stephen King are my favourite authors. I'm also mad about comics, particularly X-Men.

Knitting is my main craft, but I've recently been getting into cross-stitch and bookbinding. I'd love to learn how to quilt, and am hoping to take a class in it this fall.

I've been playing the french horn for eight years now, and have a wide range in taste of music. I enjoy everything from Barry Manilow to Rammstein, from Flogging Molly to Tori Amos. I really love Celtic music.

Shy as can be, I'm a bit of a loner. I just find it really hard to connect with people (or at least, the people I know around here). I'm overly sensitive, emotional, and think too much for my own good. I'm rather secretive and have a fiery temper.

I'd really love to get to know more people, and am always up for swapping mixed CDs and small gifts. I like to write long letters and share poems and random thoughts. Hope to hear from you. [:
