1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Should I let someone post my pattern that they translated in another language? on: February 17, 2013 08:09:37 PM
Someone had messaged me yesterday about how they had translated one of my patterns into another language and created a PDF of it.  They asked me to put it up on ravelry and my blog. Also asked me for permission to post the translated pattern on their blog & a link back to the original pattern.

I normally don't allow people to copy & paste my patterns onto their blog. I'm wondering what you think about this considering it's another language.
2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Octopus~ on: April 04, 2012 09:46:57 AM
Thank you!
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Octopus~ on: April 03, 2012 09:39:02 AM

This was the first design.

I tried going for something different. Less bulky in the head and tried to go on the 'cute' side.

Both have a flat bottom so it's able to stay up.

Should I make these both or stick to the newer design?

The first octopus was originally priced at $10 but I'm not sure if I should keep as or go lower.

The new one: I'm not sure for the pricing. Same?

So cute! I must make one to look like my puppy!
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / puppy amigurumi! on: March 09, 2012 11:54:05 AM

this one has a pattern
(has not been tested but definitely feel the design needs improvements!)

I like this one more. The first one was an attempt to make small amigurumi but I think medium/large is for me lol

Oh has anyone made animal amigurumi and brushed it? I really want to make a fluffy one!

I've been trying to design some new things but I love octopus too much to stray.. My earlier amigurumi involved unnecessary bits like sewing. Yay for weaving!

Ignore watermark :D  It's been awhile! Made a much improved light box thanks to the boyfriend. Now if only he'll start learning to make amigurumi  D;

bead eyes and sewing on tentacles

safety eyes and actually weaving in the ends nice n tight lol

less pieces to assemble. woo!
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / How to assemble pieces neatly and secure? Tips, what's the secret?! on: April 08, 2011 09:50:49 AM
I'll like to make them more secure and less wonky looking. Is there some sort of trick to attach pieces and make it look nice? Sometimes legs/arms come off or the space between the head and body look really weird.

I found a picture tutorial forever ago but lost the link.
