I scored a big bag of odds and ends. This is the end result of muttzing with it last night.

My first grandbaby's first Easter.

I'd forgotten how much I like baby blankets. Having a grandbaby brings in all back in spades. I saw a blankie similar somewhere and graphed it out on my own.

I did two rows of alternating puff stitch between each square, and then 4 rows of same around the outside. The back is blue fleece with an overlaping crocheted border covering the stitches.

Born of an old gooseneck lamp, an old brick (for balance) and a bottomless pit of leftover yarn:

And yes, I just posted like a madwoman to get my 10 posts in, just so I could show this off.

I've been skulking about here for a bit, and have gotten so many wonderful ideas and made so many incredible things. I should have been saying thank you and letting you know how awesome your crafts are.

I had my very first most-perfect-ever grandchild, The Princess, right after Christmas and of course I've been having a ball making things for her. I had three boys, so never got to make girly things.

My oldest son just recently joined the Army, and there's been so many things here I've made and sent him. I'll do better about sharing from now one.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / I'm stuck. I've browsed the entire forum over the last few days. on: December 13, 2007 03:13:17 PM
I found my 20-year-old son something fantastic to make, my 19-year-old son and my brandnew most wonderful daughter-in-law.

Now I'm blank and clueless on what to crochet for my 14-year-old son. I made them all slippers last year. I made him a set of hats when school started. He has never had a most favorite TV show.

Any ideas? Please.

Oh, and thank you so very much for the incredible ideas I've already found.
