Alright, So I figured I'd get an early start on Christmas and tackle the ever-so important Boyfriend gift (Ack!) What I thought of doing was sort of a "Hillbilly Rockstar" (His seft appointed nickname) themed gift. It's a line from one of his favourite songs by Kenny Chesney. Anywho, I was thinking maybe you know "Hillbilly Rockstar" in a box or something like that. Maybe a fancy belt buckle! AH! I don't know, some of these are so lame but I'm thinking the in a box idea, in which case this should be in the in a box thread but yeah..... Okay! So someone throw some ideas out for me!

Well sort of. It does have all of the colours. I made one of those "peasant"-y skirts. I only used 1 metre of fabric and I still have some left. I love this skirt because it's all air-y and woo. I'm trendy for once! Hurrah! Anywho, here are some pictures.

Yo. So I made this mini messenger bag back in April while Watching the Junos. [Woo Canadian!] I didn't get around to posting it now but it's better late than never. Anywho, I made it using Polka dot corduroy and plain red lining. It had a zippered pocket, 5 pen holders and a calculator pocket (Of course!) It holds everything nicely for school. Everything is top stitched with matching red thread.  On with the pictures...

It kinda camouflages in with my red bed skirt and rug...

Alright so my auntie got married today and I needed something to wear to the wedding. It was my chance to make something awesome! I decided on making a dress with a Simplicity pattern. Unfortunately because I'm so short I had to alter the length and the upper bodice. Besides that it went pretty well. I used this amazing White fabric with yellow, red and pink spots. Have a look for yourself. And sorry for the Humungoid pictures and the squinty expression. The sun was rather bright.

Since craftsters seem to have the best ideas, I've come for your help! My boyfriend and I will have been together for a month next week and I wanted to make him a little something. He's already said he's buying me flowers so I just wanted to give him something in return. Nothing really big or expensive just gift to say I care and etc. Any ideas at all with help greatly!

I want to make a zip up hoodie/sweatshirt but I can't find any patterns. Can anybody suggest a pattern? Much thanks!

Alright So I saw the thread in "designer homage" for the primp hoodie. Jessica simpson wears them all the time and they go on ebay for $150. I just took a regular old navy hoodie that I had and splattered it with white paint. I found out I didn't have any bleach so the white paint was a subsitute. I printed out a picture someone had taken of the ice cream on the back of a primp hoodie and coloured it in with markers and pencil crayons. I then scanned it back in an printed that puppy out. I ironed on it and then realized I used clear iron-on paper and not white so I'll have to try it again when I get bleach and another sweater. So after that long-winded post here are the pictures. If anyone wants the iron-on picture let me know, I can post it.

Back. If you notice there is a spot in the icecream cone where the paint burned when I was ironing it on. Shhh.  

My first attempt at a stuffed toy. It sorta looks like a deranged bear with wings. I love him to death though. I named him Weldon after the child I adopted on the sims.  Yes, I am Strange.
