1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / 3 and 1/2 uber cute bunnies I made for the holidays...first sewing project EVER! on: December 12, 2007 05:18:27 PM
So I bought the book Softies over Thanksgiving break and got inspired to start sewing. So now I have my very own sewing machine and have been making my own softies to give away as presents for the holidays.

Here are all of the little bunnies together...

This one I named Tron. Because it was the first bunny, and turned out kind of wonky and odd...

Bunny #2 - a.k.a Lucy...

Bunny #3 - a.k.a. Kiki...

And Big Bertha... I haven't had the time to give her proper ears yet...

I can't decide if I should give them all bunny tails or leave them as they are... I think the tails kind of look stupid, but it could just be the yarn I used; I got new yarn and hopefully it will look better.

Crazy Tron Bunny Tail.

The three blue ones, Kiki, Lucy, and Big Bertha, are going to go to my step-Grandma, because she loves Americana homemade stuff. And Tron is going to my boyfriend because, as he puts it, "Tron is ridiculous!" Apparently that's splendid...

Well thanks for looking, I plan on making more. And if I do I'll probably post a tutorial, but I didn't take any pictures while making these, so not right now.
