1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / laptop collage on: September 20, 2010 05:42:12 PM
so the other night when I couldn't sleep I found myself perusing craftster as usual, when I stumbled upon this! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=349932.0

I thought it was a grand idea, so I made one for myself.  I have a clear plastic case around my laptop, so I just sandwiched the collage between the case and the top.  hooray!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / sweater clip-ish thing on: December 02, 2008 11:01:30 AM
So, I was inspired by lishshop's post [[ http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=126655.0 ]]  It's pretty much amazing and totally something I would wear.  I finally decided to get off my lazy bum and make my own!  Here it is!

and an incredibly blurry close-up of random watch faces:

What do you think?  Should I be so bold as to actually wear this in public? Smiley
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Hey Mom, is defacing government property legal? [[NEW pieces added!]] on: October 08, 2008 07:19:03 PM
Then it's a good thing we don't live in Canada!

Okay, so, my mom's dad was in the Navy for a million years, and he's traveled the world.  Every time he'd go to a new country he'd bring her back a coin.  I happened upon this freaking amazing coin collection and bugged her until she gave me a few.  She refused to give me the really cool ones though, but oh well.  Here's what I made last night!!

[[pardon my poor excuse for good photography]]

This was me trying to be cool and take a neat picture.  It didn't exactly go over well.

This one is truer to color.  And no, it really doesn't hang that crooked. Smiley

The background is made of random stamps and black nail polish, if you were wondering.
More to come soon! Smiley Smiley

Thanks for looking!  Opinions are greatly appreciated!

NEW STUFF!   whoo-hoo

This one is another Canadian coin...with a boat!

This one is 20 pence from France.  Oh, how I'd love to go there.

I just love peacock feathers!

I made this one for a girl I work with who loves seahorses.  The coin is from Singapore!

Here's a shot of the back, just because it makes me happy.  I freaking love dominoes.

That's pretty much it.  I'm all out of cool little things to glue on to other random things.  Anywho, enjoy the rest of your day...I sure won't; it's off to work I go!  Yippee Skippy!
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wedding Fascinator on: June 13, 2008 07:23:26 PM
I made a nifty fascinator using this How To from Burdastyle

on my head

and where it will live forever because I have absolutely nothing to wear it with

I also made some rose pins from ties using this How To
[[I am totally in LOVE with her complete ensemble; mine is sad in comparison haha]]

I decided it was a bit much to wear all three, even for me, so I put them on my purse instead.

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / randomosity killed the cat [[with about a million pics]] on: June 13, 2008 06:46:24 PM
Okay, there is no dead cat, but there are lots of random pictures!  Here goes:

Sorry for the blurry-ness!

This is for my winter coat..not like I need one down here in the south

A bit more summer-y

I'm not a big fan of this pin, but my friends are

I got the pendant thing at Michaels, and I added the "eggs" along with the chain

This one is for my mom.  There really isn't a big empty spot on the bottom right; there are garnets there.  I just love the white chain!

Just for fun

AND...that's all.  Feedback is mucho appreciated! Smiley
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Iron Cattail on: June 12, 2008 07:23:25 PM
My papa made this for me for Christmas [[I'm slow on posting, I know]]...it's a metal cattail!!!  Technically, though, it's made out of black iron.  I asked how he made it, but it made absolutely no sense to me...I say it was MAGIC! haha

I apologize for my bad photography skills...it really looks much cooler in person!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / 60s Starburst on: June 12, 2008 07:16:26 PM
Mi Madre made this for me for Christmas this past year...she refused to pay    375$ for a "vintage reproduction".  Can't say I blame her there;  her's looks just as good too - if not better!  Smiley

She made it out of wooden dowels cut to different lengths, a round piece of plywood, a blind spot mirror from some auto shop, and gold spray paint - talk about thrifty!  In all I think it cost around 30$.

Aren't mothers wonderful?
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / 2 necklaces produced from boredom on: June 12, 2008 06:44:06 PM
Hi guys!  So, I've been lurking here for a while, and I must commend you really crafty people!  Anywho, I get really bored at night and usually wind up making random and completely useless things;  I was feeling especially crafty the other night and dabbled into jewelry making...

I call this one "I'll love you til the end of time"  haha. get it?

Sadly, this one does not have a "punny" name Sad

The End.
Any comments/criticisms/whatever are greatly appreciated.
