22  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: 2008 Handmade Calendar Swap (Sign Ups 10/6/07-10/19/07, Send Out 11/26/07) on: October 07, 2007 03:59:42 AM
just sent my info in Smiley

I have a question I couldn't figure out in the discussion: do we craft 12 different pages for the month we get, or will they look the same, so that we all end up with the same calendar?

i just wanted to ask the same thing Wink

Everything is so nice, good work guys Cheesy

Ragdoll93 asked me to post pictures of the items that I sent her in the swap, so here they are Smiley
Nightmare before Christmas is her favorite movie and I focused on it, so everything is based on it.

Jack-Picture:

Sally Apron (made with iron-on):

Ludo-Game (I almost kept this one for myself Wink ):

I also made her a pair of Jack-Head earrings and some Jack beads but I forgot to take pictures of them.
I hope you like everything you got Ragdoll, I really enjoyed this swap Smiley

I got my swap-items a week ago and i'm so sorry for not posting earlier, everything is so nice and pretty. Thank you HelenM, I love everything Smiley
She sent me a recipe-book, a dishcloth and 6 wineglass charms.
Here is the group picture:

And here are the charms with the dishcloth (beautiful yellow and I love the teapot) and the recipe-book with the registers inside.

26  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Anyone cook in German? on: August 13, 2007 07:10:26 AM
Hi there,

Preiselbeeren are Lingonberries, cranberries are out of same family, but they taste different. (here is the wikipedia-article).

On the recipe for Sauerbraten, I've never prepared one myself, but here are a few recipes that I found online in foodblogs that I read. They usually post good recipes (they are in German, if you need help translating let me know):
1 2 3
I'm at work right now, but I'll take a look at my cookbooks later at home, I think I saw one recipe there too.

If you need anything else pm me Smiley

edt:
I just did a google-search for some pictures/screencaps, you know, to see if there is anything useful out there before having to make some myself for stencils or similar stuff. I don't know if anyone could use them and there are many more out there and some of the linked pages have a few more, but here are the ones I found interesting Smiley

28  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Stitch Marker Swap Gallery on: August 02, 2007 06:07:04 AM
I received from my partner carole73 and I absolutely love everything.

Beautiful packaging:

The stitch markers

I love all of them but the two green ones are my favorite ones.
The pocket for storage is very cute and a nice idea. She sewed some magnet strips on  the pocket, it's very easy to attach the markers onto them.
And the little embroidered hearts are lovely Smiley

Thank you so much for being an amazing partner
