32  Re: What are your Christmas knitted Gift Ideas? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by minanina on: December 06, 2004 08:04:21 AM
Oh Zephren, I'm so glad to see someone's finished version of that hat! A sister of a friend is having twin boys soon, so I'm going to make the froggy hat and the matching slippers for one of the boys, and the ducky version for the other.

Those are soooo adorable, I think I'm going to make those for my best-friends daughters... I couldn't think of anything and know I have the perfect gift... Thanks for the link!

33  Re: Belle Star Knitalong!! in Knitalongs by minanina on: November 22, 2004 02:01:11 PM
Elisha, I have the same yarn, it's funny how a picture can fool you  Smiley
And I started Belle Star, it took me a while to figure out the pattern since I'm not used to patterns (this is going to be my first project besides the monk's travel sachet that I'll knit following a pattern.)
Anyway, this is my yarn, I saw it in the shop and fell in love with the colors. They are so great..

Colors are a litte bit darker then in the picture

35  Re: arm warmers in Knitalongs by minanina on: November 11, 2004 11:47:30 AM
I finished mine a while ago but didn't have my camera to take pictures.
They turned out a little bit longer then I wanted them but still they are pretty warm.

Maybe I'll do another pair in black/white, i'm into stripes right now  Grin

I've just finished the second one and I think it turned out great, although it was a little bit tricky.
Here're the pics, please tell me what you think...

38  Small knitted bag with flower + 2nd one *~*~ in Knitting: Completed Projects by minanina on: October 11, 2004 03:01:33 AM
Hi,
I'm new and I have a confession to make: I'm addicted!! Wink Every free minute I spend on this fabulous site and I love it! So I decided to show something of my own things that I make. So here it is:
A small knitted bag with a flower. First, I didn't wanted to make a lining, just stitch the sides together, but it didn't feel and look the right way. Now it is just the way I've imagined it.
And sorry for my crappy english, I live in Germany and I love to craft!

EDIT: the second one is on the next page ...  Smiley
