Just one question... The little diagram, Leah, Looks like MacSE20's... Please tell me that's not the big upgrade. From one antique Mac to a small collection of antique Macs.  Grin  Huh  Grin  Roll Eyes  Grin

haha! i was thinking the same thing... at least there's another nerd here with me Grin

Hahaha, yes.  I had the same thought, too.  Cheesy  The antique Macs do win at super-cute, though.  Wink

Congrats on the upgrade, Leah!  You guys rock!

Possibly because at 8am that morning it was already over 80 degrees. =D

Yes, this is possibly why the strange looks, lol.  Wink  I am so so glad that you are wearing it!  Grin  (And I agree, sometimes the CA mornings are chilly, even in the summer.)

Illusen, your package sounds lovely!  I can't wait to see the pics of what craftywillow sent you!

Ginny Weasley's favorite quidditch team Cheesy . . . that is very nice attention to detail!  How thoughtful.  Great package!

I vote for CDs, because:

1) I have video clips as well, and that's easier on CD.
2) It is more fun and exciting to get something in the post!
3) I took these images myself, and should be allowed to send them, so I'm glad we will be able to.

I'm very relieved at the response from the help desk!  I think it's the right position to take on CD data we create ourselves.

In other news, I had a wonderful day of shooting today!  My brother and I drove out away from the more urban area of the Bay (not going to say just where -- it's all a surprise!), and I got some really nice shots.  I'm pleased.  Some video clips, too, but I haven't looked at them yet.  A good, if long, day of shooting.  Smiley

Wow, that is an awesome package!  Everything is so adorable.  I love the notebooks.  You need to steal back the potions book!  And the knitting brooch is so, so wonderful! Cheesy

No problem!  And your icon, hahaha.  You are going to be an awesome HP swapper!

Yay!  Okay, then, Pennsylvania it is!  And so I'll send from out there, too, then.  (We get back the twenty-second of August.)  And yay Wichita (and maybe the casino)!  That all sounds awesome.

That all sounds amazing, elvissatx!

I even turned the motion picture function on to shoot video of one of my favorite singers singing so I can send that to my partner.

What a great idea!  I am totally going to do that, too!  Not of singers, but I know just the thing.  Yay!

I got a ready-to-finish frame from the craft store.  It is not the style I was originally intending to get, lol, but when I saw this frame, the whole craft just kind of clicked into place.  And I have the first step of the frame craft done now, and the rest of it totally planned out.  It's going to be an even better version of what I was wanting to do for the frame in the first place.  I'm so excited!  I <3 craft stores. Smiley

I am going to try to make it out tomorrow for shooting, and I am definitely going out on Monday here in the East Bay, and maybe also Thursday (We'll see how much i get done on Monday).  I'm going to try to make it into The City this week as well.  (Like the capitals?  San Francisco is my "The City".)  Cheesy  The motion shot I want is there.  Grin

Also, I am going to be in PA some in August.  I can get shots from there, too, if you like, elvissatx, or I can send just Bay Area pics, whichever you prefer.  It's Lancaster County and the Philadelphia area, some really pretty stuff there!

Getting ready to go out to take pics today for the partner! Just waiting on the fiancee to get his damn hair done! LOL

lol.  I hope you guys have a fun day!
30  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: If Marie Antoinette was wearing this, they would have spared her neck!*TUTOR on: July 25, 2008 01:37:55 PM
tasket.basket--LOL I am loving Kitty's color choice!!  I bet Kitty feels special wearing the caps, I never heard of them before.
I hope you and your daughter have fun playing with clay, this tutorial here may be a good one to try if just starting out.  If you do not have a wig jig, you could use figure 8 loops instead.  Place them in the same general area, the outcome will be the same. Grin  You could also use circle and heart shape cutters too.  I plan on a few different shapes next time, changing it up a little.
Thanks so much everyone!!
 Smiley Cheesy Grin Cool

Thanks so much, beadizzygrl!  We do actually have a little jig thing, which I bought on impulse one day Tongue, and which I have not used, but my daughter has.  Not with polyclay though, just the wire.  She is out of town right now, but when she gets back, I know she is going to want to try this!  Thanks to you and Diane so much for the instruction and tips!

Oh, and the kitty thinks I am a little bit evil for capping his claws, but then I think he is a little bit evil for scratching up the furniture, so we're even.  Wink
