Thanks for the positive comments. Smiley  It certainly is encouraging.  Here's the design template I followed, for anyone looking for the outline:

So, this is basically my first ever attempt at doing any sort of crafting.  I had always read craftster and then I saw how easy perler bead art was - especially for someone like me who likes to do pixel art on the computer.  I had to purchase a large grid online since none of the stores I went to had what I wanted for the size.  This was also an issue for the colors.  I really wish there was a store that had all I needed.  I want tubs of these beads, not 100 packs.

The project involved 529 beads in total, an hour designing the template (which a friend kindly redesigned to fit a slightly smaller format) and an hour and a half of putting it on the grid, then ironing.  As you can see in the above image it's 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches.

Here's a centered picture:

and with a mug on top for good measure:

Anything with a skull on it is awesome.  Anything with more than one skull is godly.  You have attained god-like status.  Enjoy the fruits of your labour. Wink

Extremely trendy.  You'll be the talk of all the coffee houses. Wink  What did you use for the screaming monkey pattern?

I'd try to eat them anyway.  Just to prove my body wrong -- EVERYTHING IS EDIBLE AS LONG AS IT LOOKS DELICIOUS! Smiley

That's a great idea.  I have a thought that could perhaps expand on this -- how about a plastic grocery bag holder made in the same manner as your tote bag?  You know, the kind that you drape on a door handle and shove the plastic bags into...  like this type of bag: http://i3.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/82/c6/b336_1_sbl.JPG

That'd be really recycling.

That looks good on you. Smiley  Isn't there a leather one in the movie that's based on the comic book?
