1  Re: I made some new pillows for a little girl's bedroom... in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by 1CrazyStitch on: October 27, 2010 08:30:08 PM
I also forgot to mention that I just winged when cutting the shapes, but figured out I could pattern some paper dolls for the next project. My inspiration is this book (just thought I'd share for those who may want to do their own but need help):
Fabulous Book of Paper Dolls (Klutz) [Spiral-bound]

2  What to do with a useful eyesore? Cover it! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by 1CrazyStitch on: October 25, 2010 09:16:56 PM
I made a quick cover for the old tv stand that was doubling as a printer stand. I didn't want to buy another stand so decided to try one last attempt to salvage it. It's a corduroy cover with a paper pocket and pen pocket. I'm also going to add a couple of inches to the bottom this week. I actually think I can do more with it than cover it, but this buys me more lazy time. Roll Eyes  Smiley Enjoy. BTW, forgive the duct tape  Cheesy It's what's holding the back on lol! Now do you see why I wanted to cover it?

Here are a couple of pillows I made to complement a little girl's comforter set. It was fun, but took a while to make. Enjoy!

4  Two Toddler Robes and a Scarf-Hat... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by 1CrazyStitch on: January 05, 2009 04:33:18 PM
This is the last of the pictures. I made alot of stuff over the holidays, so I'm just getting around to posting pictures of everything I made. Thanks for looking! I hope to have action pictures (if my niece's mom gets around to taking any).

Okay, here are pics of the scarf-hat:

Bathrobe #1: (Note: I removed the hem. It didn't look right and irked me to no end. I don't have an updated picture, but it looks a thousand times better.)

Bathrobe #2 (reversible):

6  Completed 2 Vegbee Weather Jackets! (Obese pics) in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by 1CrazyStitch on: January 05, 2009 03:59:57 PM
I don't have any action shots yet. She's in another state and her mom is too slow *cough*lazy*cough* with taking the pictures. I'll update as soon as I get some. In the meantime, I took some pics of the jackets before I shipped them off. (Excuse the crooked arms on the brown coat. I should have straightened them out!)I have fabric for another jacket, but didn't want to corduroy her to death. I'll have to give it to someone else as a gift when I make it. Enjoy!

**BTW, in case you would like to know, I got the pattern from here.

7  Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along in Craftalongs by 1CrazyStitch on: January 04, 2008 10:20:57 AM
Here are some pics of my dolls (finally) sans arms, eyes and clothes. I'm waiting on my delivery of eyes and joints arriving today. Sorry about the quality of the pics. I'm buying another digital camera with a week and will post better pictures.
