1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First Craftster Picture Post - SOCKS! on: December 09, 2007 02:58:20 PM
I'm new here... I've been knitting since the summer of 2006, when I taught myself from the KLUTZ kid's knitting book. I've been addicted ever since! In October of 2006 I took a sock class, and it took me 3 months to complete my first sock (which was pretty strange looking by the time it was finished!). I've been knitting socks ever since. I use the 2 circular needle method, and have been using the KnitPicks Options set for most of the socks.

This is the first sock: Lorna's Laces "Cool" Colorway, generic rib pattern from Cat Bordhi's "Socks Soar on 2 Circular Needles" book

This yarn is Lana Grossa, and the pattern is a garter rib from "Sensational Socks"

This is also from the "Sensational Socks" book, and is some sort of mini cable twist pattern in Brown Sheep Wildfoote "Jungle"

Detail:

Dublin Bay socks in Lorna's Laces "Cranberry"

Mom and Baby socks in Lorna's Laces "Buck's Bar" - Cafe Curtains pattern for mom, and I made up the baby sock pattern

Stripy socks in Sknitches Syncopation "Rugby" colorway, generic stockinette pattern

I have tons more, but I think this is enough for now! :-)
