1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Basic Sock pattern for a 4 year old on: December 09, 2007 05:09:08 PM
If you're still looking for a pattern, try the toe-up sock method. There are alot of tutorials on the internet, but you could also buy the magic loop book. It has patterns for babies. But I like the toe up way because it's knit as you go and you can always check the fit.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Lego yarn winder on: December 09, 2007 05:06:15 PM
Just a quick thought. Why would you want to spend all that money on a lego set when you can buy cheap plastic gears, a 1.99 motor at a hobby shop, some batteries and wooden dowels? I looked that lego thing up and just like someone else mentioned it's about 200$. I made my own after looking for a less expensive way than this. Oh, and your photos are showing up, btw.
