1  Re: Doctor Who Swap - Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by wanderluster on: June 14, 2010 08:55:07 PM
FINALLY found my card reader so I can upload pictures.

Here are all my amazing things!

I got an OUT OF CONTROL tank top with one of the angels in silver that I am obsessed over, a gorgeous wrap top with a hot pink dalek stamped on the shoulder, a perfectly colored picture frame with the quote, "How long are you going to stay with me? FOREVER." It makes me swoon every time I look at it. Then a wicked crocheted tardis key choker and the Dalek stamp that Goodmorningstarshine used to stamp on my shirt.

I love EVERYTHING and I can't wait to wear my gorgeous shirts out & see who notices what's on them  Cheesy

Some close-ups:
Necklace which is not too goth at all- I already know what dress I'm going to wear it with.

It looks like I'm trying to show you my (deceptively large looking) rack here but really it's just HARD taking pictures of yourself wearing a shirt!

So Goodmorningstarshine THANK YOU for a beautiful and wonderful package- I'm so sorry I'm late sending, I'm having one of those weeks where life & work are all blowing up in my face at once and conspiring to keep me from getting to the post office. I'll send it with lots of "Sorry I'm slow sweets" for retribution Smiley

Grrr for some reason the Photo Hosting won't let me put up the picture of my last package!

I'll try again later... While I'm here- Dear Secret Santa, can you tell me who you are so I can thank you personally? I've already started using one of my mini notebooks today!

EDITED TO ADD PHOTO:

Here are my photos!

All wrapped up.

After opening! I got a super cute stocking, 3 different sets of blank cards for my pen-pals...

Including one that was handmade with fun stickers, a fun flower pen and mechanical pencils (perfect for my crossword puzzles because I keep misplacing my sharpener!) fun rainforest stamps, a flower hair tie and THREE lip balms. AND THE PILLOW.

I love this! It's so much fun and my boyfriend tried to use it as a nap pillow last night and I had to snatch it away from him because it's too pretty for him to drool on! He was sad because he said it was super squishy Smiley

Thanks for everything!! I've already stashed the lip balms in various coat pockets and purses so I have a better chance of keeping them around Smiley And the pillow is great- I love all the buttons and the colors.

belle is pretty much my favorite and it drives me nuts that she gets so neglected- usually in favor of cinderella and sleeping beauty. belle was an avid reader, bilingual, devoted to her family and a befriender of inanimate objects and scary beastly-but-secretly-hot men alike. and to me that makes her awesome so CAN WE SHOW HER SOME LOVE DISNEY?!?

but i couldn't wait any longer to eat the chocolates sarah made me & figured i'd better document their existence before i chomped down on the last one  Grin

this is the cute cute box they came in- she turned a mini cereal box inside out & glued cute stripey fabric to it with that tag (oops the wrong side is showing!) that explained that she made the chocolates. aaaand that junk in the background is for size reference. yeah that sounds good. size reference.

one of the chocolates pre- devouring:

(p.s. that says snickerdoodle which i've never had and is yum)
yumminess inside:

EVENTUALLY i will get pictures of the rest of it i promise!

5  doggy easter egg help in Easter by wanderluster on: March 19, 2008 12:40:06 PM
this easter, we're planning on setting up a meaty-treat filled easter egg hunt for our pup Sid and our neighbor's dog. does anyone have any suggestions for how to hide the treats? i feel like they won't be able to smell them out if they're encased in those plastic ones.
really, any tips or suggestions on how to do this would be awesome.

and here's the big boy who will probably be so excited after finding ONE treat we'll have to collect the other ones for him anyway Cheesy
