1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Selling Crafts at a Concert/Festival on: September 07, 2004 12:32:14 PM
HI my freindly fellow craftsters!!!!!  I have been crafting for a loooong time, but only have evr made stuff for myself or for friends.  this october, my husband and are going to a 2 day music festival in new orleans (beastie boys!!!!  yay!!!!), and in order to help pay for the trip i was thinkin gof trying to sell something small and cool like wristbands, hemp necklaces, or whatever.  my question is, does anyone have any tips or experience with selling homemade goodies at a music concert?  is it illegal?  if so, is it easy to get around the rules?  what's a good craft, easy to make in quantity, that people like to buy?  any advice is very welcome....my husband and i really cannot afford this trip at all, but we arew so desperate to see the b boys!!!  Smiley  thanks in advance.

3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / kittycat tank tops on: September 03, 2004 07:12:38 PM
i made these as a birthday gift for my friend who has a thing for cats.  the letters are felt and the cats are fabric paint.  the same color pink looks so different on the black and white shirts.  this is my first experiment with stenciling, and i'm now completely addicted.
