1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Scarf and Sweater on: December 18, 2007 03:55:51 PM
I recently finished and Irish Hiking Scarf for my husband of Jager yarn, 85/15, acrylic/wool.  It is 65" long.  My husband would like it longer, but thankfully I ran out of yarn, LOL.  It was fun but got really tedious at the end.

Then I also just finished a little sweater for one of our granddaughters.  Here is the original pattern.  You can see that I made a number of changes.  The hood is also kitchenered, of which I am quite pleased.  Although I have done quite a bit of starting sweaters, this is the first actually finished.  It is of Lion Brand Cotton Ease in their maize color.  Our little grand has red hair, so this will be beautiful on her.

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Book Ends? on: December 11, 2007 09:55:01 AM
Has anyone made any book ends?  I have some ideas in mind for a traditional, classic style but am wondering what might (or might not) be here at Crafster.  Ideas, projects, anyone?
