my mom loves/collects snowmen and this year instead of buying her one i made her one she can wear all winter long. she really loved it. its made of sugar and creme solid in lilac with a 4mm hook.I didnt use a pattern its basically just dc ch 1 join at end of round(x7?) decrease for 3 rows then sc in each ch sp. then for the snowman do 2 circles one with dc the other with trc glue or sew together then embelish.

  finally mailed meg2101's package fer teh second time so i get to post this guy. hes hand dyed, drawn and embroidered by me so hes 100% ooak and i just think hes a cutie pie!


hes 1x2inches in mainly satin stitch with whipped back stitches for the leaf and french knot eyes


that's also the cleanest back i've done so far but im really not liking that disconnection in his tummy. does anyone know how far you can stretch a satin stitch before it gets wonky?

  i made a banner to go on my craft blog. its pretty simple but i think it goes well. the embroidery is a pin up pillow i did a while ago, i just tinted it in photoshop and added my SN.



it looks so nice i wish i had actually tinted the project but i was an embroidery noob and did not know the magic of crayons lol

her hair took more time than i thought it would... like seriously it took over an hour. its 3 packets of dmc variegated red embroidery floss and some red baby rubber bands to put it up


i wish i could have figured out a way to make the part less noticeable
