11  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Ringbearers' pillows (pics plus opinions wanted) on: January 01, 2008 05:53:20 PM
I agree with 80sgirl...I would put the two ideas together.  That way you have both your colors together and the pillows are in unisome (sp?)  Also, you may be able to pull the brooch/pin apart/ in half and place the two pieces strategically on the flower girl's basket???  Or on your garter or dress somewhere.  I am a strong believer in "making it work."  If you love it--it will come to where its place should be. 12  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: One Possible Centerpiece Idea (Wooden Roses) on: January 01, 2008 05:43:19 PM
Wow, these are really cute.  I have never heard of wooden roses before.  Did you have a "billion" prior to getting engaged?  Why?  Just b/c you like them?  I am always looking for flower alternatives.  I ususally rely on old faithful--origami flower bouquets.  Where can you order them?  Do you paint them or do they come pre-painted?  I really like these, and I think those colors wil really pop at the reception--4 dozen yowza!!!(sp?)  Plus, you can always use fillers like mirrors and candles/lighting, placecards, etc. if you think you will need more filler on the tables--but I doubt it.  Congrats by the way.

I vote for #2 b/c of the clarity of the verse.  This is such a cute idea, I may steal it for Valentine's Day cards.  Congrats on you big day.

OMG I love the last pic with the sun shinning through from the back and you two kissing.  Congrats--you both look very happy together.  Are you the October wedding from the other thread?  If so you did a great job and cannot wait to see your picks either way Wink  Due in April Wink
16  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Leonessa (The Lioness) on: December 31, 2007 10:35:50 AM
These beads are amazing.  Sorry but how do you make glass beads?  Is it a kit, do you need a kiln?  I am curious--but I understand if you do not want to reveal. Wink

Or try a nearby lake...they may have large boats that you can use vs. Yacht.  Justa suggestion for an alternative.

OMG your wedding is so beautiful.  I love everything you did.  Did you have help?  How long did it take you to pull it all together?  So much detail, right down to the pre-established digital camera accounts.  Thats was the only thing I did not get around to doing when I planned my own.  I love the color contrasts and the leaf details--I love trees, leaves, and bird themes in general.  All your work was well worth the wait.  Now I want to get married in the other three seasons we missed.  Starting with Fall!! Wink  Great Job.

Oh you guys know how to brighten a girls day, esp. since I am getting so big n prego now.  I too am highly allergic to cats and many flowers.  Plus it really saves on money to do a keepsake bouquet.  I  got the idea on here of course, and they have SOOO much sparkle in real life.  I have mine out as a display and love to watch the sparkles and reminise (sp?)...Now when are we gonna get some fresh blood on here with pics from their wedding.  I LOVE weddings!!!  Some of the best parties I have ever been to.  Love rocks!;)
