1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Angel kitty! on: August 15, 2008 01:42:21 PM
I made this recently for the OTT swap and I took so many photos I just can't resist posting a few  Grin  Enjoy!

The white stripes, nose and pink ears is felt. Wings are made of feathers and were bought in a craft shop, I fell in love the moment I saw them and new they would be perfect.

Before I put on wings:

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / "Sweden-doll", with traditional swedish costume :) on: July 17, 2008 01:37:59 PM
I made this doll for the LV-swap, and it has now arriwed in its new home in Bulgary Im very proud of how it turned out so I thoght it deserved its own post Smiley

The body is crocheted using artoo1121`s wonderful pattern (with some minor modifications) and the clothes are made of felt. The flowers are painted with fabric paint and acrylics. To make the hair I used artoo1121s tutorial, exept I didnt cut the loops. I liked it the way it was and it looked more girly that way.

I tried to make the dress as close a copy as possible of the traditional swedish costume that the queen and the princesses wear at midsummer and other such occations. Its supposed to look like this; http://www.charlotte-weibull.se/sverigedrakt.shtm
Sadly I was running out of time for the swap and didnt have time to make all the details I had planned, but I hope you like it anyway Smiley

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Macro foto challenge: Alien? on: April 23, 2008 10:02:09 AM
Here comes my entry for the challenge!

This photo is taken in my dads garden. The green thing with tree legs is actually a mistletoe seed just about to root in one of the apple trees  Smiley

Taking weird, closeup, photos of everything and everyone is one of my hobbys Tongue
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / World of warcraft gnome :) on: March 21, 2008 04:29:44 PM
I made this for my little brother about a year and a half ago. It's supposed to look like my WoW character who is a cute little she-gnome. His character is ugly (human male...) so that's why I made mine instead  Tongue

Found the pictures when organising the files on my computer, and thought I should share Smiley

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Viva pinata sheep on: March 13, 2008 12:47:06 PM
I made this for one of my best friends as a christmas gift. Turned out ok I think. First time crocheting without a pattern, had a basic ball-pattern for the body, the rest is freehanded. Am especially proud I managed to figure out how to do the head-shape. For a beginner like me that is hard!  Tongue

Best looking side   Grin

Front. Had no idea how to best do the eyes first try made the poor sheep look totally retarded... This is the best I could manage.

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Where to buy yarn in Sweden? on: March 11, 2008 02:19:25 PM
Anyone in Sweden, or more precisely Stockholm, who knows a good place to buy yarn for crocheting?  Smiley
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dragon :D on: December 23, 2007 11:20:42 AM
This is the first crocheting project I've ever made, so please don't laugh too hard Smiley

I decided i wanted to learn how to crochet about a month ago and found this amazing pattern http://heavens-hellcat.livejournal.com/. It was a wonderful pattern, easy to follow for a total noob like me. Only mistakes I did was making the wings too small at first, crocheting harder than I should have.
When everyting was sewn together I decided I didn't want to embroider the eyes, I wanted to use my new safety eyes. So how was I going to get this huge (compared to the head) plastic ring inside the dragons head? The nostrils! As a result the right nostril now is twice as big as the left one, but at least the dragon got its eyes Smiley

I like it very much, even thought it can barely stand and looks slightly retarded, and I hope Sara (my friend) will too.
