1  Re: Sanrio Swap Round 1 in The Swap Gallery by Tawny on: January 31, 2008 07:09:58 PM
I angeled for Shakes.  I sent the package early last week.  Haven't seen her post so I thought I'd post the pics of the stuff I made and sent to her.  This was my first swap.  I hope you like it Shakes.

I sent her a Chococat pillow, Hello Kitty ornament (felt), Hello Kitty tote bag, box of chocolate cookies, and the heart bracelet seen below.

Upclose of the bracelet.  I didn't make it, but I thought she would enjoy it

So here I am shut up inside while the temp drops to freezing.  The house is clean, the fam is fed and so I whipped up a few items to angel for a Sanrio swap.
The donut is an bonus item. Master pieces, certainly not...satisifying.. .yep!

5  NARUTO Mascot- Check him out! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Tawny on: January 02, 2008 03:58:28 PM
I made this Naruto mascot for my 9 year old son.  He thinks I'm the coolest Mom as do the kids in the neighborhood.  I love that! Wink

This is my second felt mascot. Smiley

I didn't have a pattern. I made one by drawing him first and then cutting the drawing into pieces.

Thanks for looking!  Comments are LOVED! Smiley

6  Re: My FIRST Felt Mascot- Hello Easter Kitty!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Tawny on: December 31, 2007 03:04:45 PM
Well here is the website for The Cute Book and some of their other ones http://english.aranziaronzo.com/

What I do is just set my ebay account to search 'Japanese Craft Books' and I get updates every day so I can see what I want to add to my wish list and then I go find it cheapest price possible cause I am so cheap

Here's a few pics of the Naruto I am making my 9 year old son.  He loves it.  I still neeed to stitch his zip (oops should have done that earlier!) and I need to do his hands and feet.

I did this all from a drawing I did- I cut the drawing up and made the pattern. I love felt! Wink

Naruto's face upclose- You can tell I stitched the leaf symbol free hand cuz it's off center. LOL

7  My FIRST Felt Mascot- Hello Easter Kitty!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Tawny on: December 30, 2007 03:49:03 PM
OK- so I am new here to Crafster and new to felt mascots.  I'm in love with it and can't wait to make a bunch more things and participate in swaps.

Here's my first completed project- I do want to mention that I did not have a pattern and my stitching is not so great!  I've made notes of all my mistakes so next time it will be better.  I found the picture on the internet, printed it off and made my own pattern.  I ordered the book though. Wink

What do you think?

Hello Bunny!
