11  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Art School on: December 20, 2007 10:39:09 AM
Hi everybody,
I'm not quite sure where I should post this. I just wanted to share it. (I'm sorry if I do it wrong..)
I've just got a message from the art school in Zwolle where I really want to study next year. I have to go there for the selection-day 5 february. I'm so excited!!
And I'm nervous allready!
Does anyone have tips for me? I would really appreciate it if you would take a look at my work and say what you think about it. Some of it is on my website here; http://www.do.exto.nl.

Thanks! Grin

12  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi! on: December 15, 2007 03:22:02 AM
Hello everybody,
Altough I have allready been posting here, I'd like to introduce myself.
I am Dorien, I'm 18 years old and from the Netherlands.
I am a newbie at sewing, crocheting and knitting, but I try. I paint as well. You can check my work on www.do.exto.nl. I'm hoping to start in art school next year.
I was wondering if there were some people who live close to me? It would be nice to have someone to talk to about where to buy the materials and that kind of stuff.
Thanks for reading! I enjoy this forum very much!

13  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Striped shirt (now with picture :) ) on: December 09, 2007 07:20:04 AM
This is the first topic I post, so I hope I don't do anything wrong.
I bought a very cheap dress, because I liked the fabric so much.
I didn't like the dress. It was like you wore a big bag.
So I cut it in half and made a shirt out of it;

I hope you like it.. I do!  Grin Roll Eyes
