Hello! I am a 34-year-old full-time working mother of two in Washington State. I have a very, very, very conservative workplace, so anything I take to work has to be um boring (or at least not childish). At home, we go wild. I love crafting in the evening while watching the Daily Show with my best friend/partner. My pinterest is http://pinterest.com/juliekinn/

I think knitting is *amazing* and so a lot of my wishes are knit (you folks are my heroes!). My fave colors are black, white, teal, green, orange, navy, and brown. Im okay with pink and purple in moderation  Smiley

Hi Folks! Okay -- is this cheating? I noticed a few of us have all pinned this: http://pinterest.com/pin/68468856804510259/

Can I make a factory for these in my craft room and claim a few people at the same time?

What a super duper hoop!

So... I am thrilled with my awesome package from J_Kieviet! She filled three of my wishes: a travel embroidery case, an earbud case for my purse from my pinterest and a small wipes case for my purse (her own design). BUT.... she also made them all in coordinating *Awesome* fabric: brown and teal, one of my fave color combinations.

The beautiful outside of the case:

Awesomeness inside, plus the other two cases and bonus embroidery thread:

The brown rectangle on the right-hand side is felt for needles. Tons of pocket space, and beautiful details.

Yup, I'm spoiledCheesy                         Thanks again, J_Kieviet!

Hi All. Totally joining this conversation late. Wow -- we already have 7 pages of chattiness!

I love crocheting and jewelry making, but I'm not very confident in those skills, so I usually defer to embroidery and sewing for swaps.

Lately I've been trying to claim folks for stuff I want too (like those dinosaur tails)... then I just make a factory-style-construction-line at home. Is that cheating?  Grin

Oooh, pretty daffodil! And that cowl is gorgeous... great color, too!

Hi Everyone,

Howdy! I'm Julie, a thirty-something working mother of two in Washington State. My Pinterest is pretty clearly labeled with Swap Wishes and Swap Wishes: Supplies. I certainly don't need replicas. In fact, pretty much any color will do. My favorite colors are green, blue, teal, purple (in moderation), brown and neutrals. For my kids, I love brightly colored things.

I have a five-year-old boy and a 18-month-old girl. We are one of those uber-liberal vegetarian Jewish feminist households. Oddly enough, I work for the military, so work stuff needs to be on the conservative side. I love nerdy, geeky things. I don't like violent things (e.g., skulls) or toys that look sad.

These days I'm obsessed with finding interesting or re-decorated clothes for the kids. My poor little boy is so jealous of all the amazing girl clothes the toddler keeps getting. Boy clothes are *very* boring.

We don't have any allergies. Please check out the board labeled "Swap wishes" and "Swap supplies."

Thank you for crafting for us! http://pinterest.com/juliekinn/

No action shot today... sick day, and I'm not photo ready  Tongue

Thank you, Thatswhatshesaid!
