21  Re: Spice up your Kitchen Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Kiwi-Chickie on: April 21, 2008 08:08:03 AM

The awesome jar

Action shot of the awesome ohm towels (which everyone has been admiring, they totally rock)

Funky blue dish towel, that my daughter insists is a hat, lol.

A bamboo dish towel (that I can't use, its too cool) it has a skull in it, which the picture does not do justice.

Sorry about the late pics.
An awesome swap indeed.

Kudos, and thanks agian

I got my package today!

And my daughter totally flipped out!

My daughter grabbed the pillow and walked around with it saying 'thank you thank you' for like an hour.
lol, she really wanted a pillow!

It came right before I put her down for her  nap, so we even get an action shot, lol

Thank you thank you sooooooooo much kitschkween.
lol, she keeps rubbing the soft side  of the  blanket all over her face. That was a genius idea.

Now I am really worried about what I sent,  I thought it was an awesome idea at the time, but now...lol, kinda wishing I had done  something else.

24  Peacock Tear Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Kiwi-Chickie on: March 01, 2008 07:09:27 AM
I usually make earrings...
and necklaces

I forget about the poor bracelet family.
Using all the 'almost' strands and cleaning out my bead box I created this:

Peacock tears-
This one uses 'peacock' blister pearls, and other fwp, and sterling silver clasp.
I love it, too bad I already gave it away. *tear* lol.

Whatcha think?

25  Re: Decorate My House Swap (SIGN UP 2/15/08 - 2/24/08, SEND BY 3/21/08) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Kiwi-Chickie on: February 27, 2008 06:51:31 AM
Finally pictures....excuse the mess. She is only a almost 2 year old...but every time I clean up my work is undone within about...30 seconds, lol.

her kitchen with all her cleanings and such thrown all over the place. (she loves to cook and clean)

her temporary bed. and a fan...and more toys. She is such a spoiled child...so many toys.

her doll house (its an early b-day present) but she doesn't have dolls or anything yet...so it holds her abundance of dolls and books.

I swear I clean her room, lol
I told ya it was plain...plain plain plain.

My kitchen Sink...where I spend most of my time in the kitchen

A wall hanging that I got on my trip to Mexico

My tea stuff, I drink a lot lot lot of tea.

My plain white boring kitchen, lol.

I don't have a theme...its just sad. But we've only lived here less than a month, so lol, my excuse.

28  Beach Dreams... in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Kiwi-Chickie on: January 15, 2008 07:08:34 PM
I must have been thinking about beaches and sand between my toes while I made this, lol.
This is a etched shell pedant, with sea beads, crystals, fresh water coin/round pearls, turquoise chips, and glass beads.  Sterling silver ear wires, chain, wire, and clasps were used as well.

I love it, any critiques though?

And I'm still figuring out how to take good pictures, so bare with me here.

29  Micro-macrame in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Kiwi-Chickie on: January 12, 2008 10:37:33 AM
I used to use hemp with macrame. But I found c-lon string. It comes in oh so many colors, and it looks more delicate. I also figured out how to put a real clasp on it (thanks to a little bead fix). I love the earthy colors, and the copper colored drops. I made one similar to it in a green color with green mop chip donut and some green garnets...but it got melted in a car fire. = (

Whatcha think?

if ya want instructions or have questions about the make pm me or post up here.
mucho love

30  Coral pendant (first post) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Kiwi-Chickie on: December 12, 2007 06:33:08 AM

(sorry the pictures crappy, just used my phone)
Made a few of these from these from the left over coral my mom picked out.
I made some more of them with turquoise in between instead of the glass black beads.

Strung on black leather, with Sterling silver wire and clasp.

I am proud, lol. I actually finished something! Grin Grin Grin
