I did the original mad hatter picture in my sketchbook (in another post) and decided that that wasn't good enough. I decided i wanted him on my wall, so i painted him on canvas and found he was difficult to paint that small. so i blew him up and am proud  of the job i did. Comments would be appreciated.

I gave my parents a picture for Christmas of  a picture of their wedding day. This was my first painting that I actually focused on, finished and am proud of =]

I am hoping to do a portrait of the whole family for next Christmas.

Feedback would be great. Thank you =]
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Native Mural (IMG Heavy) on: May 22, 2008 08:09:14 PM
Although I am not native, my very good friend (and partner) is. We decided on doing a mural for Art class on one of the schools' wall.

We started off with black, white, red and blue; but the school got a painting from a famous native artist, and it got hung up over our original painting.

ORIGINAL:

Before we could finnish, they covered it, and our teacher to9ld us to do the next one in our own colours. Mine - Green & Pink and her's - Purple and Blue

PRESENT CONDITION:

We are still not completely finished, but have only a little more to do. New pictures will be posted soon.

Any Ideas?
