I have been wanting to make some of these dresses but never had call too. Well today I met a pageant mom and I just might get to try my hand at it! Has anyone ever made a "glitz dress" and what tips would you have if so?

pinning would help with swirls, and/or even using stitch witchery or double fusible interfacing to hold it down while you sew.
