1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Resin Knitting Needles - TUTORIAL ON PAGE 6!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: January 07, 2009 08:38:54 AM
PS: Quick question... how did you get the yarn to stay in place, and was there any issues with air bubbles in the yarn and did the yarn compromise the needle tips when you snaded them down to points?

Thanks!

This is fabulous! Going to have to try and carve a crochet hook as I stink at knitting! But I kick butt with resin and Dremels!

That looks wonderful! But then again, with your build, I imagine you look great in everything! I especially love the bit that goes around your neck... nice detail.

Wonderful! A little extra thick embossing powder melted on them would give them a real 3D effect.

Love it! I want a tiara like this!

My daughter made me a lovely beaded braceletwith the C-word on it... I love it.

"Friends" played a trick on me once when I was going to meet a Danish musician we had signed to our (now defunct) record label. I wanted to welcome him in his native language, so, for days, they had me practice the phrase "Du har kusenhar ei nasen" (I'm sure it's misspelled, but that's how it sounds...)

When I finally met Nikolaij, I said it. He replied "If you ever say that to me again, I'll kill you."

Needless to say, Henrick and Ernst were laughing their asses off. They finally translated it for me.

I told our new artist "You have pussyhair in your nose."

Fucking lovely.

Ginger Altoids help with the upset tum! Also, if you chew on a clove - like the ones you stick in a ham - it will help with your digestive ills, too. Break off the round, papery top and chew the clove like you would a fingernail. I know that sounds gross, but you know what I mean, right? Play with it in your teeth, not crunch it up like you're going to eat it. When it gets soft and loses its flavor, spit it out and get a new one.

Feel better fast!

Try using a heavy needle for leather stitching to punch though the heavy plastic of the pouch. There are also platinum plated needles that do heavy work too... a little more expensive but well worth the investment if you want it to come out.

Neat idea!
