Nice Job! I saw the little thumbnail pic with your school ID in the front and I thought to myself, "that is totally a CCSU ID." Then I scrolled down and saw that it was. lol. I graduated from CCSU this past May but I still have my student teaching left before it is official! Good luck!
AHHHHH!!!!!! I LOOOOOVE ITTTTT!!!!!! I am completely in love with VW buses of any kind! 1962 VW Bus is my absolute dream car! Its a prefect color too! Kinda like the VW buses from LOST! You did a great job! I <3 this so so much!!
So one of my friends from college is having a baby girl! When I first found out she was preggers I got her a pair of gender neutral booties cause it was too early to know a sex. Anyway, I decided that she was way too cool and nice for me to simply buy something from her registry so I made her a scrapbook with blank places that she can fill in pictures of her beautiful baby girl, Kaila. She has a green, pink and purple butterfly theme going on for the babies room so I kinda stuck in that color scheme. Anyway here are the layouts!!
The cover page... its her first and middle name
Not my favorite layout but oh well
Cute as a Button
Daddy's Little Girl
Bath Time... I had this ducky paper for about 10 years and finally decided to use it for Kaila's special book, although I'm still sad its not in one of my books.
Mommy & Me
Kaila Goes Camping
Kaila's First Christmas
Simple last page
She is having her shower this Saturday so I'll give it to her then. I hope she likes it
Thanks for looking Comments and Criticisms welcome.
OH NO!! the cute alien fell off the boy oh boy page! those chip board things give me a hard time... anyway the alien in the space ship goes on the top right corner of the right side of the layout with the shooting star. The 100 % boy one moved too it should be a little lower, next to the "oh" but if you're ok with it there, then you can leave it im glad you liked them, i just wish the chip board stayed better.
crafty_one the paper came in a DCWV stack called "all about boys" or something like that. i bought the 8"x8" stack because that is the size Mare mare wanted, but they also have 12"x12" and i think 6.5''x4.5''. that is also where the extra paper i didn't use that i sent to MareMare came from. its a great stack and can be used for more than just boy stuff too.
I have the expression and i love it. I think you can use the regular blade to do cut chipboard. I am sure people have, but i am going to assume it will have a harsher effect on the blade and you will need to replace it sooner. a deep cut blade is stronger and, don't quote me, but i think a little sharper so it can go through the chipboards and vinyl materials without wearing as fast. so i'm sure if you do a slower speed with a higher pressure on the regular blade it will cut the chipboard without having an ill effect on the machine, but it is probably better to have the deep cut blade.
Hello! I totally forgot to post :/ sorry. I have some good ideas and cant wait to scrap... a few people have been talking about cricut cartridges... did anyone get the Sweet Treats cartridge yet? I want it, but the cheapest I can find it is $50 and i can afford to spend that on a cartridge right now.
