I can't believe what you can do with paint and shoes  Shocked

Your shoes (well, no your sisters) rock! Grin
32   / KNITTING / Re: 2016 Featured Projects in Knitting on: March 22, 2016 02:20:39 AM
I love knitted things so much! These are both great!

The blue-orange striped set is lovely. Who wouldn't want a matching set!
The knitted sock oh no pouch from AIMR is so funny! Haha! Love it  Cheesy

I hope Lime's gorgeous braidsmaid shawl will enter the featured board too!
Sorry if it is inappropriate what I'm doing now! But I am the PROUD owner of it and I want the world to know that Lime is such an amazing knitter!!!

Woohoo!! That beautiful knit shawl is all MINE  Grin Yes, fiddle I am lucky!

Hahaha, talking about everone's craftster crush... That would be you  Kiss

I am so in love with this awesome shawl! It is so soft and I've been wearing it since I got it haha   Cheesy Even my partner is impressed by your awesome knitting Lime!

Thanks so much for knitting for me, for swapping the IYP with me and for having so much fun!
Here is a pic of me wearing it, not the best pic but it does show all our member how proud I am!!

If the pic is sideways, sorry! Working on the ipad is confusing with pictures.
I'm wearing it with one of the cables at the front, because it is so pretty!!
I hit this rocks!   Cool
34  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Prayer Flag Swap Round 6 - Sign up til March 26 - Send-out April 25 on: March 21, 2016 11:03:11 AM
oh man--I did not read that part until after I signed up! Grin

I better do that one first or else I will flake on myself! Grin

Hahaha LOL Linda!  Grin We wouldn't want you to flake on you  Wink

I didn't notice that line either, until I read something about posting pics of what you made for both you and your partner. I was confused, so I read it more closely. Not that Wulf wasn't clear, I just didn't read it properly haha  Smiley

This is a fun and stress low swap. Not too complicated but lovely nevertheless!

So, all you who doubt: JOIN!  Cheesy
35  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: First bag set completed... with funny dogs ;) on: March 21, 2016 10:54:25 AM
Craftster is all about sharing and helping eachother  Smiley

I love the piping, it makes a bag look so fancy and sewing in isn't that hard. Not that I use piping that much  Cheesy

Keep up the good work and keep sharing!
36  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: IYP 28 - Winter Wing Ding GALLERY!! on: March 21, 2016 09:09:54 AM
Yay!! It was such a fun pattern to sew!  Smiley
The fabric is reversible, so I used the black/white side for the front&back and the white/black for the sides. I don't think it really stands out but it adds a little interest to the bag. I like details haha  Cheesy

The ephemera was fun to collect and send you! Glad I did, you spoiled me so I'm glad I stuffed the envelope with Dutch stuff  Grin

Here's a picture I took of the of the bag, not that fantastic but you can see the black/white and the white/black fabric a little  Smiley

You can see (not very clear) that the flowers in the front panel are white and in the side panels the flowers are black. It was fun to use the fabric that way!

Thanks a lot for a fun swap Kwality!  Cheesy You are an amazing partner!  Cool

And I did that too! Info sent!  Smiley I'm up for more flags!
Love the idea of making one for my partner and for myself  Smiley

I think the fabric is fun! You need to look closely to see the dogs.

Am I correct that you sewed in piping?
I agree with AIMR that it is lovely how they are part of a set but also very different. Great work!   Smiley

You were patient too, if it takes that long to finish, I usually quit hahaha  Grin
39  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Ladybird and Berries Stumpwork on: March 20, 2016 09:28:24 AM
Stumpwork is always so impressive! This is so cute Smiley Great work!
I also love the frame you used.

I received my package from Lime!! Grin

Here are my two smalls. Both very Lime and so fun!

A fun tissue-holder with 'bless you' in Dutch stamped on it. Ha, I love it, it makes me want to catch a cold  Tongue hahaha!

You can also see a match box in the pic above. It's Seattle in a box! How fun!!
It made me laugh and I love all the little things inside. It is tiny and the lines are perfect, like Lime's handwriting!!  Shocked

Then, this is so amazing... A knitted shawl/wrap!! In the most beautiful yarn, so soft and so pretty! Lime chose a pattern with a beautiful cable, I LOVE cables!! She didn't know that. Oh my, speechless!! I tried to take a good picture, but the colour is hard to catch.

This picture shows the colour a little better:

Last one, the shawl in action  Cheesy

Yes!! I'm so happy with all I received! Love it!   Cheesy

Woohoo for IYP!! And for asking not one but TWO craftster-crushes!!  Grin Grin
