1431  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Felt Badge Round 2 Gallery!! (Send Out July 9) on: July 14, 2012 01:42:00 PM
Luvebuggy99: love the cat in the hat-hat badge! The binding with red and white is a nice touch! Great caterpillar (I like that word) on the mushroom. Maybe a stupid question, but what is the part with the beads and the yellow thread? I'm not seeing it.....

It is his hookah  Tongue

Hahaha, yes now I see it!!! I think it is about time I watch the movie of Alice in Wonderland! I read the book (with lots of pictures) when I was little and saw I think a cartoon of the book. Now that you mentioned it, I remember the caterpillar to be smoking. Hahaha! Thanks for answering my silly question  Grin

1433  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Tenth Doctor Poppet (Pic Heavy) on: July 14, 2012 03:58:14 AM
He is amazing! Love his eyes, his long eyelashes, his curly hair.
And he comes with an entire wardrobe. Just amazing!

Great job, especially since you were not familiar with Dr. Who (I don't know anything about that too, only pics I've seen on Craftster, haha, so you're not the only one..), crafting for lanikins would make me super nervous too (she rocks), and I can sew clothing but puppet clothing, that small is tricky!

Okay, so I hit this rocks!! You definitely deserve that!  Cheesy You pushed your limits, love it when that happens!
1434  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Macrame owl - it's time for a comeback! on: July 14, 2012 03:46:57 AM
It is so cute! Owls are always appreciated, aren't they?

Love the eyes, the colour and the little rainforest sticks! Great work!

Thanks for sharing.  Smiley

it is cut out felt bits secured by the stiches. Does that make it clear?

On the one hand, yes, that makes it perfectly clear.

OTOH, my brain just spasmed because until now, it (my brain) was fairly certain that it was physically impossible to do something that intricate and lovely from cut up pieces of felt.  Cheesy

Actually i'm looking at it now and it is made of awesome and magic !!  Wink

and sweat and lots of swearing  Wink

No blood???
Hahaha, I punctured myself more than once during SEWING, so I shall not dare to try needle felting LOL!

New badges arrived:
