Wend, your English is awesome.  I'm always impressed when someone can communicate in NOT the language they grew up with.  I have a hard enough time with English.  I'm afraid if I had two languages rolling around in my head, I would not be able to communicate with anyone Grin

I could reply in Dutch but I think less than 1% of the Craftsters will understand  Cheesy

My English started to improve the moment I got hooked on craftster! But we hear a lot of English on the radio and on tv. I learned English when I was 12 years old, and some German and French too. We are a very small country, so it is necessary to speak at least English. My French sucks and I can only understand and read a little German. I do read, write and speak English. It opened my world  Cheesy

I sometimes have a hard time switching between English and Dutch. Especially when I'm tired  Roll Eyes

I have learned English sewing terms I don't even know in Dutch, haha  Grin
It really isn't that hard, as long as you don't use too much 'slang'. Oh and translate.google is a great invention  Grin

Thanks!  Cheesy

And your domo-toaster-bucket still rocks *on topic   Wink

That totally made my day. Thanks, HSG and wendie (again)!

Thank you, altered!

You're welcome! It does deserve more Craftster-love  Cheesy

Oh and my comment on the colour wasn't meant to be unfriendly and I'm not at all an expert at that, I just noticed it. I don't see it when it comes to myself, that is why I shared it. Both hats look great on you, no doubt about it  Cheesy

It probably involves a lot of eyes!

You ladies are so smart and you are so good with words! I would like to have that in English too, but I try and catch up  Cheesy

Glad to see all the happy faces with their prizes... but so sad to see what great prizes I will not be getting  Cry Cry Cry

That little needle felted bear is so cute! Great prize Avesthel! The earrings as an extra are great and a nice surprise!
The earrings make me think of Delfts Blauw: "Delfts Blue"  porcelain.  Cheesy Or maybe that is just my Dutch thinking  Wink
