Yay! I have an answer. So DMC totally anticipated this request and named a bunch of colors "flesh" and then they realized that someone might have a problem with that and gave them these names instead:

951 LT Tawny - Flesh
948 V LT Peach - Flesh
754 LT Peach - Flesh
3774 V LT Desert Sand - Sportsman Flesh
950 LT Desert Sand - Sportsman Flesh
3773 MD Desert Sand - Sportsman Flesh
3064 Desert Sand - Sportsman Flesh
407 DK Desert Sand - Flesh
3772 V DK Desert Sand - Flesh
632 Ultra V DK Desert Sand - Flesh

Yes! This is the awesomest thing I've seen in a long time. This is exactly the type of thing I've become interested in doing, god you've so lucky to have found completed needlework. Have you blogged this yet?

a thousand times "yes".

I love seeing the efforts of people new to a technique. You're not bogged down in what can or can't be done.

You've made something incredible, thanks for sharing it.

Yay blackwork! I've stitched that pattern too, it was really fun. Your sample looks great.
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: How or where do you store your embroidery supplies? on: September 28, 2008 04:14:37 AM
yeah...all my kits are shoved into Forever 21 bags because they're sturdy and have good handles. I should really upgrade.
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cheap counted cross stitch ornaments? on: September 17, 2008 07:04:13 PM
I think once you've mastered the cross stitch anything more complex just means managing more colors, strands and a larger chart. I mean, these are really impressive but I think it's more a matter of wrapping your brain around it (and staying alert!) than anything you do with needle and thread.

If I'm wrong, please let me know!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Does anyone know what im talking about? on: September 17, 2008 07:00:26 PM
I think I saw something somewhere about cross stitching onto a crocheted sweater but I can't remember if there was a specific term.
