I just love this bag.  I have a lot of scraps too, and this is such a great use for them. 

I saw on your blog that the appliqué has frayed edges...do the strips of fabric pieces also have frayed edges, or did you tuck the edges under before sewing the pieces to the interfacing?

That is so, so beautiful - I thought you wrapped ribbon around a vase also.  I am beyond impressed now that I get the concept of how you actually made it.  And the flowers - so gorgeous.  Thanks for the tut - I'm going to try making some flowers!  But I'm pretty sure I'll be using a glass vase to hold them.

I received my package from crazy wazy today!  I love everything she made me so much.  Look what I got:



In case you haven't figured it out, my color is blue!  And she did a lot of variations of blue which I love.  The scarf is so beautiful and it is a great length and width - I absolutely love it.  She also hand stitched a case which I am going to use to keep my watercolor pencils in.  It would also make a great travel case for my kids' colored pencils, or even to hold necklaces when I travel.

I also love the picture holder that she made out of clay.  I put a picture of 3 of my boys in it so you can see how it works.  I have the perfect spot for it!
