23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Need advice on a inherited tiny old suitcase on: December 09, 2008 03:50:49 PM
I`ve inherited from a fav aunty, its  cardboard ( used to be all the rage )covered with a `leather `look, but i`m afraid the `leather` is peeling off and the cardboard is showing through.
It still has all the fittings attached , even got the original keys to lock it and handle .
Now what i`d like to know is how could i decorate it, if i painted it, what paint can i use?
I love the size of the little case, its only about 15inch wide , if that, and i think it deserves a second life as a bag for me, in aunty`s memory.
Help?   Smiley
