I`ve been really lucky lately in that one of my local charity shops has been selling wool for 50p a ball. Anyway, i have my first grandchild due in a couple of week, a girl, so i`ve been busy trying to use up my stash. Grin Anyway, i managed to buy 2 balls of this wool but a slight difference in the shade ( you can see with the front band , i had to use the second ball just to finish it off.
But hey ! it does`nt really show , hopefully , but i`m betting the buttons will cos a hell of a lot more  Grin Grin

I found this old favourite pattern that i used to knit for my 2 kids about 25yrs ago . I loved knitting it because it knit up so quick .Anyway, i bought some wool from a local charity shop 2.50 , and i`m now scouring charity shops for some buttons for it.  Grin

My dd has given me some bags from empty rice sacks and dog food. Now i want to make some messenger bags from them, i`ve looked through the posts of ones on here what others have made but can`t see if they`re lined or not cos i fancy lining mine  Smiley

I love this Day Of the Dead fabric, and my dd does, so i made her a new messenger bag she can use for work. No pattern, just made it up as i went along, putting in lots of pockets.

This is what i`ve made for a friend of mine, she`s a nurse and when i was sorting out through my stash i saw this fabric and just had enough of it , and knew it would be perfect for her Grin

I bought these curtains cheaply for the fabric and have made 3 pairs of shortie pj`s .There`s 10 of us going on holiday together and us 3 ladies will all have some nice cool pj`s to wear.

I`ve wanted to make some piped cushion covers for a while and after watching a tute on youtube i`ve finally managed it.The fabric cost me 3 from the local market - enough for 2 covers plus a little left over for a small purse  Grin
