Go to your nearest wally world and get a bottle of Fabri-Tac!! It is so much better than tacky glue and it will hold those on with no issues. I make dolls and use that to hold on eyelids and lashes and have even used it for attaching lace and such to outfits! It bonds fast and dries clear!

I second the recomendation for Fabri-Tac. That stuff is awesome. It can bond fabric to fabric, fabric to wood etc. It is kind of pricey, but a little goes a looonng way.

SunflowerSmiles, I hope you are feeling better and I can't wait to get some Vicodan induced buttony craft goodness.  Grin I have not even started any thing for this swap, unless you count annoying my partner with endless PM's progress. I promise to start tomorrow, and I am definitely going to be checking out my local library for inspiration.

I don't think that I've checked in yet.. I have been crafting all weekend, and I am now just waiting for things to dry and set before I package them up and send them out. I should be able to send by tomorrow, as long as I get done with my "real job" in enough time to make it to the post office.

I can't wait to see what it is phoenixfire! I was stuck on 2 smalls as well, but then just went with larger items, even though they took more time it was just easier  Cheesy
*chuckles* Yeah, I know how that goes. Some of my "smalls" are more mediums and such. Just depended on what inspired me and what I felt like making.

I was the same way. Most of my smalls are mediums and two of my mediums should probably be smalls- but both of my larges are extra-larges- so I think it will all balance out in the end. I just went with the items that I wanted to make for that theme and used the size guidelines as more of a suggestion than a rule  Grin

OK, I have finally taken pictures of the wonderful things that mimiw made for me. I apologize for taking so long to post them. I still can't believe how wonderfully awesome everything is. Prepare to be overloaded with coolness and make sure you have your wisting button ready- here we gooooo..........

Theme 1: T-shirts

The shirts are- cool tree with tire swing, love birds, key to hell, and dream with a red balloon (the last two are from the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman)

Back of the dream t-shirt and the tree stencil

Theme 2: Butterflies
I was really hoping that Mimiw would make me one of her beautiful stained glass works of art. I was blown away when I opened the box and saw this inside:

Unfortunately, it was damaged in shipping- but I think a little super glue can fix that right up!

Butterfly stencil

Theme 3: Simpsons/Futurama

Ralph Wiggum t-shirt

Hand drawn Futurama plates. These things totally rock. I can't wait to use them. I am hoping they are safe to eat off of

Theme 4: Books
I gave mimiw a list of authors that I liked and she decided to craft from the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman

The dream letters and the book mark all have images of Dream decoupaged on them. I love them so much. Here is a close-up

Theme 5: Sustainable/Recycled

A journal cover and pincushion made from recycled wool sweaters. I love them both.

A reversable shopping tote bag. It has two large pockets and I love the colors and the fabrics.

Wow, I think that is everything.

THANK YOU MIMIW!!!!!! you rock the catbox!!!! I only hope you like everything I am making for you as much as I love everything you made for me!
